[table “2” not found /]In conjunction with the usual September New Hampshire Orchid Society meeting, IPA is pleased to present its 8th Annual “Focus On Phals” day. This special event will include two presentations, a culture round table and a mini-auction of select plants, plus a review of the always-abundant NHOS show table.
Our special guest speaker this year will be Mike Mims, a well-known boutique hybridizer, to share his secrets of growing novelty Phalaenopsis to their ultimate. Mike has been the recipient of numerous AOS awards to his novelty Phalaenopsis, including a highly coveted FCC/AOS ! He will be bringing a great selection of seedlings for sale from his trend-setting breeding program. Carri Raven-Riemann of the orchidPhile, Past IPA President & current Regional Director, will share with everyone the absolute newest in cutting-edge breeding as seen at the Taiwan 2018 TIOS Show & will touch on Taiwan’s new approach to Ribbon & Medal Judging in preparation for the amazing 2020 WOC in Taiwan.
The Registration Fee of $12 for NON-NHOS members just covers the cost of light morning refreshments & a generous lunch buffet. We invite all orchidists, IPA members & non-members alike, to join us for this very special “Focus on Phals” event.
